description Systemic Lupus Erythematosus In article number 2207108, Nan Shen, Hongyan Wang, Bin Wei, and co‐workers report elevated plasma levels of 7α,25‐dihydroxycholesterol, but its receptor EBI2 is reduced in monocyte/macrophages from patients and mice with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). EBI2‐deficient macrophages produce higher levels of IFN‐I, chemokines and cytokines, which further recruits and activates T and B lymphocytes to exacerbate the development of SLE. [Image: see text]
