Sumario:Breast cancer is the most common malignancy, and the majority of the patients are diagnosed at an early disease stage. Breast conservation is the preferred locoregional approach, and oncoplastic breast conservation surgery is becoming more popular. This narrative review aims to discuss the challenges and uncertainties in target volume definition for postoperative radiation after these procedures, to improve radiation therapy decisions and encourage multidisciplinary.
