The genome sequence of the Pied Smudge, Ypsolopha sequella (Clerck, 1759)
We present a genome assembly from an individual Ypsolopha sequella (the Pied Smudge; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Ypsolophidae). The genome sequence is 867 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 30 chromosomal pseudomolecules with the Z sex chromosome assembled. The mitochon...

Sumario: | We present a genome assembly from an individual Ypsolopha sequella (the Pied Smudge; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Ypsolophidae). The genome sequence is 867 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 30 chromosomal pseudomolecules with the Z sex chromosome assembled. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.3 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 20,394 protein coding genes. |
