description Idiopathic brachial neuritis also known as Parsonage-Turner syndrome is a rare neurological disorder characterised by pain and paraesthesia involving the shoulder girdle and upper limb, followed by weakness of the affected area. The cause is not very well understood and is often misdiagnosed leading to delayed treatment and long-term disability. There are many risk factors for the condition, with immunisations being accountable for as many as 15% of cases. In response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, many companies have been producing and distributing COVID-19 vaccinations. To our knowledge, there have been 42 cases of brachial neuritis reported following COVID-19 vaccination to date. Here, we report a case of brachial neuritis following a patient’s fourth COVID-19 vaccination and present a review of the literature.
