Sumario:Health examination surveys (HES) are one of the key data sources for health policy formulation and evaluation as well as monitoring of several health related Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and other internationally agreed indicators for NCDs. The presentation will 1) highlight importance of health examination surveys in reporting accurately SDG and other internationally agreed NCD indicators; 2) Identify internationally agreed NCD indicators for which HES is used as data source; 3) give an overview of current levels of implementation of HES in the WHO European Region; and 4) Briefly describe available WHO tools related to HES.
