description Testicular vein embolisation for varicocele is a common interventional procedure performed in predominantly young, healthy males. Cross-sectional imaging is rarely performed for treatment planning and is often not available. In this case report, we describe a case of testicular vein embolisation in an ipsilateral pelvic kidney where cross-sectional imaging aided treatment planning resulting in successful embolisation.
