Sumario:The 2023 Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded to Alexei Ekimov, Louis Brus, and Moungi Bawendi for the discovery and development of quantum dots, an area of research ripe with exciting results in terms of both fundamental science and present and forthcoming applications.
