Sumario:We were highly interested in the article entitled ‘Clinical evaluation of the first semi-active total knee arthroplasty assisting robot made in China: a retrospective propensity score-matched cohort study’ by Yang et al. The authors aim to conduct the postoperative prosthesis position and clinical functions of the semi-active total knee arthroplasty assisting robot (RATKA) using a 1:2 propensity score matching. However, we came across what we believed were flaws in the study methodology and results about the prothesis and tourniquet, and we would like to discuss them with the authors in conjunction with our own research.
