Landiolol for the prevention of postoperative atrial fibrillation after cardiac surgery: a systematic review and meta-analysis

PURPOSE: Postoperative atrial fibrillation (POAF) is a common complication following cardiac surgery. Although the evidence suggests that beta blockers prevent POAF, they often cause hypotension.
