Sumario: | Pyosalpinx is the collection of pus in the fallopian tube. Pyosalpinx usually follows pelvic inflammatory disease, sexually transmitted disease, or rarely non-sexually transmitted infection. Pyosalpinx should be considered in female patients with lower abdominal pain. |
