Cultures from Adult Rat Liver Cells. II. Demonstration of Organ-Specific Cell Surface Antigens on Cultured Cells from Normal Liver

The occurrence of organ-specific antigens on the surface of cells freshly isolated from normal adult rat liver and from liver cell lines cultured as monolayers for up to 6 months is demonstrated. Enzyme treatment used to disaggregate parenchymal cells from liver tissue did not result in appreciable...

Sumario:The occurrence of organ-specific antigens on the surface of cells freshly isolated from normal adult rat liver and from liver cell lines cultured as monolayers for up to 6 months is demonstrated. Enzyme treatment used to disaggregate parenchymal cells from liver tissue did not result in appreciable changes in the antigen profile of the cell surface membrane.
