S-phase specificity of cell killing by docetaxel (Taxotere) in synchronised HeLa cells.
Cell viability following short (1 h) contact with paclitaxel or docetaxel was assayed using synchronised HeLa cells. Docetaxel proved almost totally lethal against S-phase cells.
