The effect of heavy chain phosphorylation and solution conditions on the assembly of Acanthamoeba myosin-II
At low ionic strength, Acanthamoeba myosin-II polymerizes into bipolar minifilaments, consisting of eight molecules, that scatter about three times as much light as monomers.
