Sumario:Pure cultures of Bordet-Gengou bacilli produce in rabbits an interstitial mononuclear pneumonia which cannot be differentiated from that occurring in children dying of pertussis or from lhat caused in animals by the viruses of epidemic influenza and psittacosis. A similar pneumonia can be produced in rabbits by typhoid bacilli.
