THE RESISTANCE OF LIVING ORGANISMS TO DIGESTION BY PEPSIN OR TRYPSIN
1. Pepsin and trypsin are quickly removed from solution by dead organisms. They are not able to penetrate into living organisms. 2. Trypsin injected into a living Amœba results in the death and disintegration of the cell.
