ARSENATE AS A CATALYST OF OXIDATION
Arsenate exerts a catalytic effect on the oxidation of pyrogallol by atmospheric oxygen, on the catalytic oxidation of pyrogallol by metallic iron, and on the presumably enzymatic production of CO(2) by Elodea canadensis.
