SOME PROPERTIES OF THE YEAST YELLOW PROTEIN

The yeast yellow protein contains two prosthetic groups, one of which is undoubtedly a flavin. The nature of the other is unknown, though some of its properties are described. No catalytic function for this protein has as yet been found.
