THE PENETRATION OF SOME CATIONS INTO MUSCLE
The influx of Na(+), K(+), Rb(+), and Cs(+) into frog sartorius muscle has been followed. The results show that a maximum rate is found for K(+), while Na(+) and Cs(+) penetrate much more slowly.
