Evidence for electrogenic Na+/Ca2+ exchange in Limulus ventral photoreceptors
The Ca2+ indicator photoprotein, aequorin, was used to estimate and monitor intracellular Ca2+ levels in Limulus ventral photoreceptors during procedures designed to affect Na+/Ca2+ exchange.
