It has been found that 2-{[dimethyl (β-triethylgermylethyl)-silylmethyl]thio}-1-methylimidazole and 2-{[dimethyl(β-triphenylsilylethyl) silyl-methyl]thio}benzothiazole are the most active cholesterol level lowering and vasodilating agents.
