Sumario:This paper provides a brief account of events leading to the establishment of the constitutional right to privacy in the case known as Griswold vs. State of Connecticut. It also discusses changes in the training of residents in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale University School of Medicine and the evolving role of women in the residency program.
