The benzene and methylphenyl rings have a dihedral angle of 63.41 (5)°, while the amide group makes a dihedral angle of 20.5 (1)° with the benzene ring. The molecules are linked into chains in the b-axis direction by N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
