Sumario:The title compound, [Ho(2)(C(4)H(4)O(4))(C(8)H(4)O(4))(2)](n), was synthesized hydro­thermally. The Ho atom is coordinated by four O atoms from four benzene-1,4-dicarboxyl­ate (BDC) anions and four O atoms from three succinate anions, in a distorted square-anti­prismatic coordination geometry. The anti­prisms are bridged by the benzene-1,4-dicarboxyl­ate and succinate anions, into a three-dimensional coordination network. The succinate anions are located on centres of inversion.
