CASE PRESENTATION: This is a case of ketoacidosis complicated by the use of ecstasy in a 19-year-old insulin-dependent diabetic Caucasian woman. CONCLUSION: The use of ecstasy may trigger diabetic ketoacidosis in patients with a preexisting metabolic disorder
