In the title complex, [ZnCl(2)(C(12)H(12)N(2)O)], the Zn(II) atom is coordinated in a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry by two Cl atoms, and one O atom and two N atoms from the 2,2′-(oxydimethyl­ene)dipyridine ligand.
