The title compound, C(7)H(9)N(3)O(2), was prepared by alkaline hydrolysis of ethyl 1-allyl-3-amino-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylate. The crystal structure is stabilized by three types of intermolecular hydrogen bond (N—H⋯O, N—H⋯N and O—H⋯N).
