The title molecule, C(13)H(13)NO(5), adopts a Z conformation at the C= C double bond. The ethoxy atoms of the ethyl ester group are disordered over two orientations in a 3:2 ratio. Weak intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds help to establish the packing.
