{μ-6,6′-Dimeth­oxy-2,2′-[propane-1,3-diylbis(nitrilo­methyl­idyne)]diphenolato}dimethanoltrinitratonickel(II)praseodymium(III) methanol disolvate

In the title dinuclear complex, [NiPr(C(19)H(20)N(2)O(4))(NO(3))(3)(CH(3)OH)(2)]·2CH(3)OH, the Ni(II) ion is coordinated by two O atoms and two N atoms of a Schiff base ligand and by two methanol ligands, forming a slightly distorted octa­hedral geometry. The Pr(III) ion is coordinated by six O atoms from three chelating nitrate ligands and four O atoms from a Schiff base ligand, forming a distorted bicapped square-anti­prismatic environment. In the crystal structure, inter­molecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds connect complex mol­ecules and methanol solvent mol­ecules to form (10[Image: see text]) sheets.
