Sumario:In the mol­ecule of the title compound, [Co(C(6)H(4)NO(2))(2)(H(2)O)(2)], the coordination environment around the Co(II) atom is distorted octahedral; two N and two O atoms of the pyridine-2-carboxylate ligands lie in the equatorial plane and the two water O atoms in the axial positions. In the crystal structure, inter­molecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol­ecules, forming a supra­moleular network structure.
