Sumario:Crystals of the title compound, C(15)H(14)N(2)S(2), were obtained from a condensation reaction of benzyl dithio­carbazate and benzaldehyde. The mol­ecule assumes an E configuration about the N=C double bond. The phenyl ring of the thio­ester group is nearly perpendicular to the dithio­carbazate plane, with a dihedral angle of 84.60 (5)°. In the crystal structure, inter­molecular N—H⋯S hydrogen bonding links adjacent mol­ecules to form a centrosymmetric supra­molecular dimer.
