1,5-Dimethyl-2-nitroimino-1,3,5-triazinane

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(5)H(11)N(5)O(2), contains two independent molecules. The two triazine rings adopt envelope conformations. Intramolecular C—H⋯N and N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds result in the formation of two five- and two six-membered rings which are nearly planar; in addition,...

Sumario:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(5)H(11)N(5)O(2), contains two independent molecules. The two triazine rings adopt envelope conformations. Intramolecular C—H⋯N and N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds result in the formation of two five- and two six-membered rings which are nearly planar; in addition, they are also nearly coplanar. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N—H⋯N, C—H⋯N and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the molecules.
