6-Amino-4-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-oxo-1,2-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarbonitrile ethanol solvate

The title compound, C(13)H(7)ClN(4)O·C(2)H(6)O, was synthesized by the reaction of 4-chlorobenzaldehyde, malononitrile and 10% sodium hydroxide solution in an aqueous medium. In the crystal structure, the crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular N—H⋯N, O—H⋯O and N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds....
