(Z)-Ethyl 3-(4-chlorobenzamido)-2-cyano-3-(4-fluorophenyl)acrylate

The title compound, C(19)H(14)ClFN(2)O(3), was prepared by the reaction of ethyl (Z)-3-amino-2-cyano-3-(4-fluorophenyl)acrylate and 4-chlorobenzoyl chloride. The dihedral angle between the chlorobenzene and fluorobenzene rings is 66.18 (19)°. In addition to an intramolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bon...

Sumario:The title compound, C(19)H(14)ClFN(2)O(3), was prepared by the reaction of ethyl (Z)-3-amino-2-cyano-3-(4-fluorophenyl)acrylate and 4-chlorobenzoyl chloride. The dihedral angle between the chlorobenzene and fluorobenzene rings is 66.18 (19)°. In addition to an intramolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bond, there are intermolecular C—H⋯O and C—H⋯N hydrogen bonding interactions, which stabilize the crystal structure.
