Sumario:The Fe(II) atom in the title complex, [Fe(C(6)H(4)NO(2))(2)(H(2)O)(2)], exists in a distorted octa­hedral coordination geometry defined by two O and two N atoms from two pyridine-2-carboxyl­ate ligands and two O atoms of two water mol­ecules. In the crystal structure, mol­ecules are linked into a three-dimensional framework by O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
