(Benzohydrazidato-κ(2) N′,O)[2-(benzoylhydrazono-κ(2) N,O)propionato-κO]oxidovanadium(V)

The V(V) atom in the title compound, [VO(C(7)H(7)N(2)O)(C(10)H(8)N(2)O(3))], is N,O-chelated by the benzohydrazidate anion and O,N,O′-chelated by the 2-(benzoylhydrazono)propionate dianion. The distorted octahedral trans-N(2)O(4) coordination geometry is completed by the vandadyl O atom. Molecule...

Sumario:The V(V) atom in the title compound, [VO(C(7)H(7)N(2)O)(C(10)H(8)N(2)O(3))], is N,O-chelated by the benzohydrazidate anion and O,N,O′-chelated by the 2-(benzoylhydrazono)propionate dianion. The distorted octahedral trans-N(2)O(4) coordination geometry is completed by the vandadyl O atom. Molecules are linked by N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds into a supramolecular chain structure parallel to [010].
