The bridging sulfate ligands connect Co(II) ions to form a one-dimensional chain along the b-axis direction. In the crystal structure, inter­molecular O—H⋯O, O—H⋯N and N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the chains into a three-dimensional network.
