The title compound, [Ni(2)(C(9)H(6)O(4))(2)(C(12)H(8)N(2))(2)(H(2)O)(2)], is isostructural with the Zn(II) analogue. Each Ni(II) atom is coordinated in a distorted octahedral geometry by three O atoms from two homophthalate anions, one aqua O atom and two 1,10-phenanthroline N atoms. The two Ni(II)...
