In the title nitronyl nitroxide radical compound, C(16)C(23)N(2)O(5), the imidazole and benzene rings are twisted with respect to each other, making a dihedral angle of 26.2 (4)°. The imidazole ring adopts a half-chair conformation. Weak C—H⋯π interactions are also found.
