In the crystal, a strong π–π inter­action is observed between the imidazolium and 2-methoxy­phenyl rings, with a centroid–centroid distance of 3.5115 (15) Å. In addition, C—H⋯F and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and C—H⋯π inter­actions involving the ­phenyl ring are observed.
