Sumario:In the title compound, C(14)H(9)I(2)N(3)O(4)·CH(3)OH, the Schiff base mol­ecule adopts an E geometry with respect to the C=N bond and the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 45.0 (2)°; an intra­molecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bond is present. In the crystal, adjacent Schiff base mol­ecules are linked by methanol solvent mol­ecules through inter­molecular N—H⋯O and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming dimers.
