Sumario:The title Pb(II) coordination polymer, [PbCl(2)(C(13)H(14)N(2))], was prepared by the hydro­thermal reaction of PbCl(2) with 4,4,-trimethyl­enedipyridine in a 1:1 ratio. It exhibits a two-dimensional layered structural motif consisting of PbCl(2) chains and the flexible bridged 4,4′-trimethyl­enedipyridine ligand. The connections result in a cavity of about 4 × 15 Å.
