In the title compound, C(8)H(9)NO(4)S, an intramolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bond gives rise to a six-membered ring. In the crystal structure, two molecules are connected by O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a centrosymmetric dimer. These dimers are further connected by C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
