N′-[(E)-4-Hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene]benzohydrazide

In the title compound, C(15)H(14)N(2)O(3), the phenyl ring is disordered over two set of sites with an occupancy ratio of 0.810 (3):0.190 (3); the dihedral angle between the two components is 72.3 (4)°. The benzene and phenyl rings are oriented at dihedral angles of 69.18 (8) and 26.0 (5)° (major an...

Sumario:In the title compound, C(15)H(14)N(2)O(3), the phenyl ring is disordered over two set of sites with an occupancy ratio of 0.810 (3):0.190 (3); the dihedral angle between the two components is 72.3 (4)°. The benzene and phenyl rings are oriented at dihedral angles of 69.18 (8) and 26.0 (5)° (major and minor orientations, respectively), and an intramolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bond occurs. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N—H⋯O, O—H⋯O and C—H⋯O interactions, generating a three-dimensional network.
