In the title mol­ecule, C(17)H(12)BrN(3), the mean planes of the bicyclic system and the attached aromatic ring form a dihedral angle of 63.12 (7)°. In the crystal structure, weak inter­molecular N—H⋯N hydrogen bonds link adjacent mol­ecules into ribbons extending along [010].
