Sumario:The asymmetric unit of the title hydrated mol­ecular salt, [Zn(H(2)O)(6)](C(6)H(5)O(4)S)(2)·2H(2)O, contains two half-cations, two anions and two uncoordinated water mol­ecules. Both cations are completed by crystallographic inversion symmetry, generating almost regular ZnO(6) octa­hedra. In the crystal, the cations, anions and uncoordinated water mol­ecules are linked by O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network.
