In the title compound, C(16)H(16)N(2)O(3), the 3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl group makes a dihedral angle of 10.04 (7)° toward the 1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridine system. The crystal structure displays intermolecular N—H⋯N hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers.
