The Pt(II) ion is four-coordinated in a slightly distorted square-planar environment by two P atoms of the 1,1′-bis­(diphenyl­phosphino)cobaltocenium moiety and two Cl atoms. In the crystal structure, mol­ecules are linked by weak C—H⋯F and C—H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds.
