The conformation of the N—H bond in the title compound, C(10)H(10)Cl(3)NO, is anti to the C=O bond. The amide H atom exhibits both intramolecular N—H⋯Cl and intermolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonding. The latter interactions link the molecules into infinite chains.
