Sumario:In the title compound, C(13)H(9)ClN(2)O(2)S, the dihedral angle between the aromatic ring systems is 6.00 (12)° and an intra­molecular C—H⋯N inter­action generates an S(6) ring. In the crystal, mol­ecules inter­act by way of C—H⋯O and N—H⋯O bonds, generating R (2) (1)(7) and R (2) (2)(10) ring motifs, and aromatic π–π stacking inter­actions [centroid–centroid separations = 3.730 (3) and 3.733 (2) Å] help to consolidate the packing.
