Tetrakis(di-4-pyridylsulfane)dinitratocopper(II)
In the title complex, [Cu(NO(3))(2)(C(10)H(8)N(2)S)(4)], the Cu(II) atom (site symmetry [Image: see text]) is coordinated by two monodentate nitrate ions and two monodentate di-4-pyridylsulfane ligands, resulting in a slightly distorted trans-arranged CuO(2)N(4) octahedral geometry. Intramolecular...

Sumario: | In the title complex, [Cu(NO(3))(2)(C(10)H(8)N(2)S)(4)], the Cu(II) atom (site symmetry [Image: see text]) is coordinated by two monodentate nitrate ions and two monodentate di-4-pyridylsulfane ligands, resulting in a slightly distorted trans-arranged CuO(2)N(4) octahedral geometry. Intramolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds are present. In the crystal, adjacent molecules are linked via C—H⋯N hydrogen bonds into chains parallel to the a axis. Intermolecular C—H⋯O interactions also occur. |
